I Love Retro Gaming

I love video gaming and I'm a huge fan of all the older classic games. Although i have notest something "Gamers" are killing the gaming echonimy. How, innovation will kill gaming. So I thaught why not remember the classics before they're all gone.

Firstly I want to start at the introduction of home consols such as the Atari, NES, SNES, Genissis and many more. The reason I'm going to skip the era of arcades is because theyres not to much to talk about and most of the games where moved to the atari later on so I won't harp on about them after this paragraph.

The introduction to home consols was an amazing time with the atari storming houses everywhere.

It had all your favourite games form the arcades like Pacman, Donkey kong and even space invaders. But with the Atari brought the video game crash of the early 1980 and it was awful. game designers just didn't make good games and people stopped buying video games. One example of this is ET the video game, everybody loves the movy but the game was trash!

But thankfully a small toys company made a consol that is remberd as the classic gaming consol to this day. The name of this company was NINTENDO and the name of the Consol was the NES!!!!

This is the consol that saves everything and they did it with many good games like The Legend Of Zelda, Donkey Kong and so many more but one rose above them all this game was called

This is the game that changed everything "SUPER MARIO BROS!!" This game was amazing and it saved gaming as a whole from the video game crash. Your objective in this game is to run and jump your way through the 8 worlds the game puts you in. I personally think this game should be ported to every Nintendo console. Cool console right well one company tried to out do Nintendo and they really did what Nintendon't.

There name was 

Sega was a small Japines video game company with high expectations. They wanted to make a neew consol and a new IP who would become theyre mascot the name of this consol was the SEGA GENISSIS and it was amazing.

This consol was 16bit and the graffics where so good for the time. It was fast and people started boycotting nentindo for this consol but it was all for a few games and these games starred SEGA's new mascot who was called

You can read it it's sonic the hedgehog it was the coolest game that everybody loved and why. Because it was like Super Mario bros but it was just better. Better graphics, better music and it WAS SO FAST!!! Really the main character is classified under "fastest thing alive" and that's pretty fast. The SEGA genesis had other sonic games as well but there not important to the history of video gaming. Sonic had a few sequels such as sonic 2 and my personal video game of all time SONIC 3 AND KNUCKLES  both of these games where even faster than the first one and they where awesome.

Nintendo made a consol no more than two years later in the year 1992 and it was called the SUPER NINTENDO it was made to compete with the genisis and it rocked with it's 16bit graphics and amazing games.

This was the consol to have and it was the final flame needed  to spark the 1990 CONSOL WARS!! There where comertals all about the consol wars between sega and nintendo and Nintendo had some pretty good games and by pretty good I mean AWESOME games and I'm only going to mention 2 of these games.

These two games are amazing one with amazing exploration aspects and one with amazing platforming aspects and both of these games get all the credit they deserve.

Now after all of these amazing consols and games Sony wanted to break into the action with there own consol but decided to side with Nintendo and make a consol with them. Unfortunately it didn't work out with them so Sony made the most amazing thing that would be out done by the next amazing thing. There amazing consol was called the Play Station.

This is the first 3D consol in video gaming and it was AWESOME!! That's right the consol had 3D games and these games where mostly awesome. The Play station had some amazing games but when it comes to the best one to play then you have a lot of options. It had RPG's, Platformers, Shooters and even some weird party games. Since I don't have much time I'll only recommend one game and that game is Final Fantasy 7.

This game is a 3D Fantasy RPG that every human on earth should play because it's so good. But no more than one year later Nintendo enterd the 3D gaming market and they had an even better consol.

This consol was called the NINTENDO 64!!!

This was quite possibly one of the most amazing consols ever for the time. It had so many good games like Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda ocarina of time, DK 64 and Super Smash Bros. So many other games where on this consol and so many of these are loved by fans even to this day.
